Greetings and Salutations from The Kansas City Naturists!!
I would like to take this chance to introduce myself to all my fellow FKK'ers out there. I am Dan. I 've only just recently become an "official" nudist / naturist / nudie - only within the last two months! I come from a country background and have physically and mentally worked hard my entire life. If I was not building a barn or fixing a fence, I was working in the construction field. I 've also traveled the world working as a military contractor, training soldiers to locate land mines. I've constructed cellular towers and gear across the country. I've partied in Prague, constructed sites in Okinawa, sunbathed naked and skinny dipped in the shores and of Puerto Rico, been arrested in Germany (long story) and it is rumored that I've also smoked weed in Amsterdam (but no evidence was presented yet!). I 'm worldly but also modest and down to earth.

I am also in a relationship with an excellent girl who's also fresh to our endeared society. Initially, we began our journey into naturism by trying to find areas to camp nude. Upon an internet search, we came across the notion of naturism and nudism and obviously, it appealed to us.
I, myself, have pretty much always been a nudist. I would take my clothing off anytime and anywhere I believed it was appropriate. Lake, pool or pretty much everywhere with water, camping trips in the back yard while working wherever I believed I could go sans fabrics and not cope with any legal or moral ramifications.
My girlfriend, however, has not been so free lively. When we met, she was closed, quite shy and insecure. I did my best to nurture her and allow her the time to recognize that she's her own person and beautiful both inside and outside. It took a little work and even more time but she came around.

We started out being bare around one another. We'd be naked in the house and slowly progressed to camping bare in our backyard (134 acres). Albeit, just the two of us, but she loved the experience immensely. What started as a weekend of nude easiness and greatest appreciation for nature (and all things therein) soon turned into a lifestyle that we'd never have thought about.
With research and dialog, we have learned that nudism has evolved quite radically through the years. Gone are the days of "free love" (never comprehended that termisn't all adore free?) and drug-induced nude frolicking and it is time for mainstream America to visualize the naturist society for what it really is - the innocent and accepting society that we've come to love. A society of free thinkers and buddies who know one another inside and outside and people who know that absolute approval of all is the sole way to live! We also have learned that it's a "help one, help all" community and we hope in order to fulfill the high standards that were set by the FKK family and the pure nudist movement.
We, in our nubile nudie posture, comprehend our choice of lifestyle is not for everyone. But we do hope to ignite such passion as what Naked Advertisements and Marketing the Northeast Naturist Festival on Main Street USA have seen from those who have come before us. We also have learned that there are so many minds out there that have been formed by the social media, to "believe" that our nudie society is around callous and unabashed sexual adventures.
It seems a bit rash for mainstream society to presume that all nudists, naturists and nudies want to engage in orgies and sexual conquest simply because they enjoy social nudity. Having said that, I have to admit that my lady and I 've been propositioned on many occasions. In all honesty, they are too many to recall or even count. Hence, we can understand where that type of mindset may be coming from.
In my opinion, get an awesome tan--with no lines. see no issue with being approached. In our case, all offers have been respectfully rejected and that was the ending of it. We just continued to appreciate whatever task we were
